Here are just a few of the photos I took while I was in Russia.

Tula was one of the cities that hold off the German advance in WWII and was awarded the title of Hero City.  The 3 bayonets is a memorial that marks the point where the German army was stopped

Yasnaya Polyana was there place where Leo Tolstoy was born and lived much of his life - writing many of his greatest works.  The estate is just outside of Tula
