While traveling from Oklahoma City to Midland Texas the thought came to me this morning about the word of God. To make this trip I looked at maps and studied GPS to see the route I need to go. This is just the same as we have to do in out spiritual life.
King David understood this when he wrote in Psalm 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.". Like David we have to ensure we stay on the right path, follow the correct route. Jesus called it the "straight and narrow way". To reach our goal of eternal life that is the way we have to follow.
