Spring Cleaning

Have you ever had to move everything out of a room? I just had to do that today in order to get some slate laid on the floor.

While it was hard work, it also felt good. It was a feeling of accomplishment and surprisingly it felt wonderful to get all the “clutter” out of the room. The room now looks so big and airy – I had forgotten just what it is like.

Sometimes our lives get too “cluttered” up with the worries and cares of this life. The trappings are often just traps.

On the spiritual side, we need to get rid of the clutter in our hearts in order to let Christ in. We have to have hearts like the good soil in the parable of the sower. We have to remove the distractions of this life – clear away the sins that entangle us. We can’t do this on our own, but we can with Gods help.

If you want a “spring cleaning” of your soul, Christ has the solution.

Have a look at the “What Must I do to be Saved” links.

See ya
